The Challenge from the Client

Install a short length of retaining wall adjacent to an existing property to allow construction of footings to a new property. The new footings were to extend below those of the existing property, making the provision of a retaining wall prior to excavation a necessity.

A leader rig and hydropress were used to install the sheet piles in a silent and vibration-free method through soft clay. No disturbance or disruption was caused to the adjacent property.
