The Challenge from the Client:

Install a retaining wall to enable construction of a new access road to a major new waste facility. Sheet piled cofferdams were also required by the Client, together with multiple foundation piles to the new facility.

The Ivor King Solution:

Ivor King’s designers developed solutions for the retaining wall, cofferdams and foundation piles whilst working alongside the Client. A thorough understanding of the Client’s requirements enabled cost-effective designs to be developed and installed. Sheet piles were installed for the retaining wall and cofferdams. 1300 Steel tubes were driven to form the foundation support piles.
