Ivor King supported a major Level Crossing Removal Project in Melbourne, Australia – working in close proximity to a live railway, in extremely hard ground, and within a tight residential setting.
The solution? Our Giken ECO700S, complete with Supercrush Auger system – selected for its ability to operate with minimal noise and vibration while tackling challenging ground conditions.
We supplied both the specialist equipment and experienced operators to John Holland, as the only UK subcontractor able to mobilise this setup at short notice.
The project formed part of the Victorian Government’s $2.4bn programme to remove dangerous level crossings and improve transport links across the region.
