Local MP impressed with facilities and opportunities for employment
On Friday 19th May, we hosted a special visit by our local minister Marcus Jones, MP for Nuneaton. We were also joined by Mat Danks, Senior Public Affairs Manager from HS2 at our Nuneaton HQ.
We were able to show first-hand the opportunities we provide for local employment in the town, which has been our home for the last half century, but also how our Nuneaton based hub supports and services the whole operation nationwide.
Quite simply, without it we would not be able to do what we do, and be part of the supply chain for the largest infrastructure project in Europe, which is why we were super proud to showcase the business to our eminent visitors.
Marcus posted on his social media feeds shortly afterwards, ‘Delighted to visit Ivor King on the Haunchwood Park Industrial Estate. A family-owned Nuneaton business which has grown to become a leading UK piling contractor and a major local employer. In recent times Ivor King has played a major role on the Grayson Place development in Nuneaton town centre and nationally on the HS2 Project’, also adding, ‘I really enjoyed my visit. Your business is a credit to our area!’
