Collaboration, Innovation and an Insight into Modern Piling Techniques
We were delighted to welcome a group of clients and consultants to IKHQ for a recent breakfast session focused on steel piling and modern installation methods.
Following informal introductions over breakfast, we moved into a series of engaging discussions exploring the innovative installation techniques we deploy across our projects. We shared practical insights into how modern methods using state-of-the-art piling equipment are improving efficiency, safety, and sustainability on site. Real-world case studies helped bring these approaches to life, demonstrating how strong relationships can unlock better outcomes.
A key theme throughout the session was the value of Early Contractor Involvement (ECI). By working together from the outset, projects can benefit from reduced risk, improved buildability, and more refined, cost-effective designs — something we continue to see delivering tangible results across the industry.
After the main presentation, guests were invited behind the scenes for a tour of our busy workshops and maintenance facilities. This provided a closer look at the expertise and preparation that underpins every project we deliver, along with the continual investment across the business needed to ensure that we stay at the cutting edge of piling. The highlight for many was a live piling rig demonstration, showcasing our equipment in action and offering a real sense of the precision and capability involved in modern piling operations.
Events like these are a fantastic opportunity to share knowledge, strengthen relationships, and encourage open discussion across the industry. We firmly believe that collaboration is key to driving smarter solutions and achieving better results for all involved.
